Three illustrated children of different ages

Designed for Every Age

5–7 years old: Most are proud of their drawings and less self-critical. Positive feedback is crucial to keep them confident.

8–9 years old: Begin comparing their art with reality and older kids. May drop in confidence unless encouraged.

10–12 years old: Want challenges that feel less ‘childish’. Perspective drawing, specific art styles, real techniques.

The Curator

One of the most important roles at Mooya. Our curators carry broader responsibilities than a traditional museum:

They ensure art on the globe is compelling across all age groups, maintaining a thoughtful mix of countries, drawings, and sculptures.

Most importantly: They review every submission to make sure nothing inappropriate is approved.
